If you’re constantly on the hunt to find new music, you know how it is hitting a dead-end and not being able to find a song worthy of downloading.

But these seven low-key songs are available to end that rut. If you're anything like me, you're picky about the indie songs you listen to, but I can't stop listening to these new gems.

Enjoy this list of seven new indie/alternative songs you need to add to your library, pronto.

1. "Body Love" - IDER

Harmonization can make or break a song. “Body Love” has perfect and delicate harmonization that demands you to put it on eternal repeat. This mellow indie gem by the female British duo IDER is something you need to check out when looking for new music to add to your winter playlist.

2. "Unwind" - Tim Atlas

This ultra-cool indie track is something you should give a listen to. Previously a contestant on “The Voice,” Tim Atlas has been emerging onto new music scene with his eclectic indie-pop sound.

3. "List Of People (To Try And Forget About)" - Tame Impala

In case you missed Tame Impala's “Currents B-sides & Remixes” released in mid-November in response to 2016’s successful “Currents,” you should check out its five new tracks. This song copies Tame Impala’s original retro indie style with a chill beat.

4. "I Think We Should Stay In Love" - jesse rutherford

This R&B meets indie track can be found on “&”, which is the first solo record released by The Neighborhood’s frontman Jesse Rutherford, dropped in early November. The whole album is worthy of a listen, but this track especially stands out due to Rutherford’s unique vocals and clever lyrics.

5. "Crime" - Private Island

Blending synth pop sounds with retro melodies, this chill track is worth checking out. The California based group is emerging onto the alternative music scene due to their ability to blend different sounds and genres.

6. "Chase Atlantic" - Uncomfortable

This pop R&B track is featured on Australian trio Chase Atlantic’s long-awaited self-titled album that dropped in early October. Chase Atlantic stands out due to their signature R&B pop sound underneath eclectic vocals.

7. "traveler" - Hippo Campus

If you haven’t checked out local indie group Hippo Campus yet, you should. “traveler,” which was released in September, has Hippo Campus’s warm indie-pop feel to brighten your mood.

8. "Erode" - TENDER

London-based duo TENDER emerged onto the indie scene in 2015 with their electronic-infused tracks. "Erode," is slow and catchy with resonant tones. Be sure to check out TENDER's full album "Modern Addiction" which they dropped in early September.

All of these songs can be found on Spotify, and other music streaming services.
