In the small city of Gainesville, foodies have succeeded to find the most Instagram-able restaurants to eat at. These are the best, and don't forget, the phone eats first.

1. Dragonfly

The go-to sushi in Gainesville. If you’re a foodie, you’ve already been here multiple times. If you are one to say “ew” to Brussel sprouts, I promise your opinion of the vegetable will change when you go to this restaurant.

2. Civilization

The classic “phone eats first” meal: avocado toast. Definitely the best, and one of the only, avocado toast, healthy/organic places to go for a Sunday brunch in Gainesville.

3. Boca Fiesta

No, this is not in Boca, but yes it is the best Mexican food here in Gville. With make your own guacamole for your Instagram and delicious corn, you will definitely love it.

4. Social

The go-to place for $5 Wednesday mac & cheese. Buffalo chicken mac and cheese to be exact. Everyone loves a picture of mac and cheese, and this one will blow your mind (and followers) away.

5. OAK

Big pretzel appetizers and mac and cheese bites, what could be better? The go-to birthday celebration restaurant, this Original American Kitchen will fill you up.

6. Keke's

The Sunday morning cure. The best omelets in Gainesville for sure.

7. 29 82 In The Swamp

The renamed 3 Natives, walkable distance from campus you have the option of building your own acai or choosing your own lettuce wrap, the possibilities are endless.

8. Bento

From poke bowls to sushi rolls, what will you choose?

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
