As all of us sit at the edge of our seats, gripping our phones in anticipation of who the next president of the United States will be, there's nothing but fear in our hearts. Although, whether the results will be revolutionary or regressive, there are some happy truths that will continue to exist even after the election. Here are some of them:

1. Avocado prices are going to drop

That's right, in a world where everything seems to be falling apart, so are avocado prices. Despite who governs the country come tomorrow, at least no one can tell you how much guac you can or cannot eat!

2. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Prince Harry recently confirmed his relationship to American actress, Meghan Markle.
Don't tell me this doesn't warm your romantic hearts!

3. Fantastic Beasts movie release

There are only 10 days left to the release of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." This is the first screen release from the Harry Potter franchise since the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 in 2011.

4. Cute puppers will continue to exist to distract you from your sorrows

Just try to look into those eyes and forget your sorrows.

6. Millie Brown will return to "Stranger Things"

Everyone's beloved character from "Stranger Things," Eleven, will be returning on screen for season 2!

Niel Patrick Harris will be playing Count Olaf in Netflix's adaptation of "A Series of Unfortunate Events."

8. Hamilton mixtape

If all that failed to cheer you up, you can at least look forward to the release of the Hamilton mix tape on Dec. 2.
