If you’re a picky eater, there’s a pretty good chance you really don’t try a lot of new foods. Because of that, you most likely survive on the same foods and eat them time and time again. Some may think that’s boring, but they just don’t understand the life of a picky eater. As a picky eater, I repeatedly eat the same foods, rarely trying anything new, and I’m perfectly content. Seriously, everyone — you get used to it, and it really doesn’t bother you as much.

My absolute favorite meal is goulash.

Some may not like this because of the texture of hamburger, noodles and sauce all mixed together, but if you can get past that, it’s a really filling and yummy meal.

One thing I’ll always eat is chicken.

It's great because you can eat it on its own or pair it with other things you like. Expert tip: if you like chicken, try mixing it with rice and corn. You can thank me later.

A basic thing, like toast, is pretty much a staple piece for a picky eater.

You can’t go wrong there.

Mashed potatoes are a hit with many picky eaters.

It’s very basic, there is only one texture throughout the dish, and the dish is very bland. I think we can all agree that mixing too many flavors can be a huge fail while serving picky eaters.

A basic soup, like tomato, will usually be a hit because of its smooth texture and basic taste.

Maybe add some grilled cheese in there as well? If your picky eater is feeling a little daring they might like chicken noodle — but don’t push it.

Rice is another one like potatoes.

It's very bland and can be eaten alone or with other things for a full and filling meal

On a healthier note, an apple can be another good choice for a picky eater, even though that couldn't be your full meal.

It can be sweet, or a little sour, depending on the type you get, so your picky eater can get whichever they like most. Total score!

Not a meal on its own, but peanut butter is another thing that’s pretty good for the picky eater.

You can pick whether you want it creamy or chunky, and it goes with a lot of other things common for picky eaters to have. Peanut butter toast or apples with peanut butter, anyone?!

From one picky eater to another, trust me, I understand the struggle of finding foods you like. Hopefully, you got a couple of ideas from this list and your mealtimes will go a little easier. Best of luck with your future meals.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
