It has come to my attention that in today's age, boys are becoming more clueless in the aspect of romance. For months, they are blind to the moves that us women use to get their attention. With women being more forward and confident nowadays, I decided to make a list how to get a boy to realize you like him.

1. Laugh at his jokes

Who doesn't like to think they are funny? It is always a nice confidence booster when you know someone gets and enjoys what you're saying.

2. Bite your lip when talking to him

I'll often do this if they are explaining something to me, and whether I already understand it or not, I'll bite my lip and put on a look of concentration. Something else you can do with this is you can always bring attention to your mouth. Whether this be biting your lip, tapping your pen against it, or eating food seductively. However, that last would one could totally go wrong somehow so unless you're an expert I would wait.

3. Touch his arm when you're talking to him

This is a total power move. I find it works in this context of, "Hey, I need to ask you something," and touch his arm. It shows you are in control of the situation and also the physical touch will definitely send some kind of sensation through him. Also it's an excuse to feel his bicep so this is a keeper.

4. Find something in common

Having a subject that you are both into will make conversations easier. Also there's almost nothing sexier than seeing a guy talk passionately about a topic. It also makes it easier to find a topic to talk about over text. Send him an article about it and he will see that you are thinking him.

5. Ask to spend time with him

When you show you are willing to spend some quality time with your boy of interest it should turn on some kind of light in his mind. People spend time together to get to know one another and it gives you even more opportunities to flirt.

6. Get to know his friends

It's one thing when the two of you get along great, but it is a whole other level when you're friends with his friends. It makes going to events more fun and seeing them is an enjoyment rather than a task. Also it's a new group of people to hang out with and get to know!

7. Dress up a little bit more around him

When you are trying to impress your boy getting dressed up is always a good start. Now to be fair boys most of the time boys don't always notice a wardrobe unless it is starkly different from your usual. For instance I wore a white dress one day and my friends were shocked that A. I was wearing a dress B. It wasn't black and C. I actually owned pink flats. So pick a day where you know you will see him and SLAY.

8. Tell him

Sometimes regardless of all these hints boys are still incredibly clueless *sigh*. Therefore if you are still committed the best route is to actually tell him! Something like "hey, you're really cute we should hang out sometime" normally does the trick.

Whoever your crush is I wish you the best of luck and hoped these tips helped you! Remember, you're in charge of the situation and you got it!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
