8 Fairy-Tale-Inspired Wedding Dresses
Rachael Crowe

Once upon a time, it was wedding season. And all through the land, “Say Yes to the Dress” reruns were streaming on demand. So this girl got to thinking about wedding dresses and … I made a list of fairy-tale-inspired gowns for your scrolling hand. Now without further ado, here are eight fairy-tale-inspired wedding gowns for you to view. (All photos from Pinterest.)

1. It's always best to start with a classic -- Cinderella.

2. A curious, flowy number a la "Alice in Wonderland."

3. This has Mother Gothel written all over it.

4. Sleeping Beauty would approve of this color-changing dress.

5. Charlotte La Bouff (from "Princess and the Frog") wouldn't settle for anything less than this dress.

6. The elegance, ornate detail, and contrasting black and white of this gown would appeal to Cruella de Vil's glamorous spirit.

7. Ursula wouldn't settle for anything less than a purple wedding dress on her big day.

8. Th aesthetic of dress beautifully mimics Snow White's snowy complexion and dark features.

And so, both villains and princesses can live happily ever after with these stunning wedding dresses.

The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
