8 Drinks To Try At Starbucks

Anyone who goes to Starbucks has probably tried more than a few things on the menu before, and they probably have their favorites. Since I'm such a big Starbucks fan myself, I decided to make a list of some of my favorites that I think you should try:

1. Iced Caramel Macchiato

This a classic Starbucks drink that is packed caffeine while also being sweet and creamy. This drink has espresso with a vanilla syrup, which is the perfect combination. Then, it is also paired with milk and ice, then topped off with an oh-so-sweet caramel drizzle. It is the perfect balance of sweet and bold. I also will sometimes get this drink with a pump of raspberry to sweeten it up! (Plus it looks really cool!)

2. Iced Coffee

Iced coffee is a drink that you can always count on. Starbucks iced coffee is bold, yet it has a sweet taste. Some of my favorite flavors to get in my iced coffee are vanilla, white chocolate mocha or cinnamon dolce. I always like to top off my flavorful iced coffee with a little splash of cream.

3. Iced Peach Green Tea

If you are not that into coffee, this is a great alternative. This drink has caffeine just like coffee does, but less calories and it's healthier for you. You can also get regular iced green tea or iced green tea lemonade. This is a great option for summer weather or when you want to relax at night.

4. Hot or Iced Vanilla Latte

This is a great drink to get when you need to be productive and get work done. I especially like to drink this when I have a paper to write or a test to study for. This drink is rich with flavors of full-bodied espresso, milk, and sweet vanilla syrup. You can also get a skinny hot or iced vanilla latte that has around half the calories, but the same vanilla taste.

5. Caramel Frappuccino

This drink is a go to for many. I have seen so many students around campus sipping on one of these! It has some espresso in it while having a slightly sweeter taste. Frappuccinos are good to drink when it is hotter outside, but it is also a sweet treat when it is chilly out as well. You can also get frappuccinos in other flavors, such as java chip, coffee, vanilla or strawberries and cream. Topped off with whipped cream, this is the perfect pick me up!

6. Strawberry Acai Refresher

I am a big fan of this drink when I want something fresh and renewing. This drink is really nice in the summer because it is fruity and thirst quenching. Although this is not a coffee or espresso beverage, it does contain green coffee extract to give you your caffeine fix. Plus, it is a fun drink because fresh strawberries float at the top, infusing their fresh and delicious flavor into this delicious drink.

7. White Chocolate Mocha

If you ever need a sweet drink that packs a punch of caffeine, give this drink a try. With the sweet taste of white chocolate, this is the perfect beverage to indulge in when you are down in the dumps or when you are in a great mood. I like to get this drink to treat myself after a hard test or when I’m trying to crank out a paper. You can buy this drink hot or iced, but I believe that it tastes better iced because you can taste all the different flavors better. The hot white chocolate mocha is perfect for a crisp fall day.

8. The Pink Drink

Last but not least, The Pink Drink was a very popular drink this past summer. The pink drink is on the secret Starbucks menu. This drink is a mix of Starbucks' Strawberry Acai Refresher and coconut milk, topped off with a scoop of strawberries; a very fresh alternative to coffee and espresso. This beverage does have the refresher in it, so it does have caffeine as stated above. I believe it’s a fresh and fruity alternative to a bitter coffee drink which many people all over social media have taken a liking to.

Happy sipping!
