If you thought that after November 8th the elections would be behind us, well you were mistaken (Don't worry I was hoping for the same). If you want to take a brake from all the politics, here are eight things that can help you distract yourself from all the politics post in Facebook.

1. Dr. Strange is already out.

I have being waiting for this movie since the beginning of the year, and is finally out!

2. Moana

Disney has being killing it with their latest movies. I'm just counting the days for Thanksgiving so I can finally watch this movie. Lin-Manuel Miranda (the closest thing we have as God on earth right now) is on charge of the music, and the Rock singing!

3. Wonder Woman Trailer

Even though we have to wait until next year, I'm looking forward to this movie.

4. Lady Gaga is back.

Love her or hate her, you have to admit she is an amazing singer. Her new album Joanne is already out, and she will be performing in the Super Bowl. Also, her Carpool Karaoke was AMAZING.

5. The Crown.

Another show to binge watch.

6. HARRY POTTER IS BACK!

While some Potterheads seem to have mix feelings about this new series, I CAN NOT WAIT WATCH IT! The magic world in the New York City in the 1920's.

7. Bruno Mars New Album on Nov. 18

"24K Magic" and "Versace on the Floor" are already out, if the rest of the album follows these two songs you are going to see me listing on repeat.

8. The Hamilton Mix Tape

The Roots, Sia, Alicia Keys, Usher, Kelly Carson, K’naan, Snow Tha Product, Riz MC, Residente, Jimmy Fallon, John Legend, and the man himself, Lin-Manuel Miranda, are some of the artist in the new Hamilton album. Four songs are already available in Spotify, and you can pre-order the album. It will be released on December 2nd.

Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
