Throughout the history of music, there has been an uncountable number of songs released. There has been a lot of good music released, but a lot of awful music. This is a list of popular covers that are equally as good as the originals, if not better.

1) Hurt -Johnny Cash

This is not only one of my favorite covers, it is also one of my songs. Johnny Cash took this song that was already melancholy and sad, and made it into a completely different song full of emotion.

2.) Can't Help Falling In Love -Twenty One Pilots

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a die hard Twenty One Pilots fan. After hearing this cover, it made me love them even more. To me, this was one of those life changing songs.

3.) Such Great Heights -Iron and Wine

The song Such Great Heights by The Postal Service is already an incredibly good song. Iron and Wine took this fast paced, upbeat song, and made it into something completely different. They slow it down, and give it a new sound. I almost always put this song in my playlists.

4.) Sea Of Love -Cat Power

Cat Power took this Phil Phillips classic from 1959, and made it more modern. I originally heard this cover in the film Juno, and fell in love immediately.

5.) Hallelujah -Rufus Wainwright

Anyone who knows me, also knows I love Shrek. The original Shrek movie was released when I was a kid, but I remember hearing this song and loving it. This isn't the only amazing cover of this song, but it is definitely my favorite.

6.) Thinkin' Bout You -Yuna

Everyone loves a little Frank Ocean, so I felt like this cover had to be included on this playlist of awesome covers. Also, the entire song is acapella which I think is pretty cool.

7.) Valerie -Amy Winehouse

This cover is so good that people don't even know it's a cover. The original song is originally released by The Zutons in 2006.

8.) Cancer -Twenty One Pilots

This cover was the main reason I decided to write this article. Don't get me wrong, I love My Chemical Romance. I cry a little inside when I hear that first note of The Black Parade. But this cover of Cancer really gets to me. This is probably my favorite song right now.

I know there are a million other covers on this planet, but these are just a few of my favorites.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
