The past three years of my life have been filled with children’s books. My parents have read books to my 3-year-old sister for just about her entire life. And on nights my parents were not home or busy with other things, I have had the honor of reading to her. After a while, I've realized I actually enjoy reading to her, and I even enjoy what I was reading. Some children’s books have valuable life lessons for a person of any age, and here are my top eight.
8. The Berenstain Bears and The Truth.
Always tell the truth.
7. Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
Some days are bad days, and that's okay.
6. Don’t Let The Pigeon Stay Up Late.
Don't stay up late, go to bed.
5. What To Do With An Idea.
Knowing what to do with an idea is important.
4. The Cat In The Hat.
Don't let strange cats into your house.3. Green Eggs and Ham.
Don't judge a book by its cover. You can't dislike something you have never tried before.2. The Giving Tree.
