For the good, the bad and the mediocre days in our lives.
1. When you wake up on the wrong side of the bed.
“I am leaving you with a gift — peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled." (John 14:27)
2. For sunny days.
"Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it. Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy." (Psalm 96:11-12)
3. When the rain seems never ending.
"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
4. For that one colleague, classmate or boss. You know exactly who I'm talking about.
"For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'" (Galatians 5:14)
5. Because change is hard.
"I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
6. When things are falling apart.
"Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)
7. When everything is going just right.
"On a good day, enjoy yourself. On a bad day, examine your conscience. God arranges for both kinds of days So that we won’t take anything for granted." (Ecclesiastes 7:14)
8. Because you lived to see another day.
"Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Ephesians 5:20)
Remember, with God all things are possible. You can't go wrong if you turn to Him.
