Plus-size, curvy, large. Whatever you want to call yourself, we all have one thing in common: the trial and error of shopping. This list will help you find your next favorite store that carries your size. Best thing is, they're online. I get anxiety walking into a store to shop because the larger clothes are typically flowy and plain boring or the cute clothes aren't in my size. These stores show style and give hope to the large following of plus-size women.

1. Rue 21 ($)

They're inexpensive but that doesn't make the quality bad. I love this store and I can usually find a coupon to make it cheaper. I have several bathing suits and shorts and shirts from them and they're great. They have a great selection and the price is outstandingly affordable.

2. Torrid ($$$$)

Torrid is full of fashion. It's the plus size and more conservative sister to Hot Topic. They're pretty pricey but I have a few pieces from this store and for the most part, they're reliable. I give them a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

3. Forever 21 ($)

I'm slightly hesitant to order from this store because the sizes are back and forth butit's great the prices are low and they're really fashionable.

4. Dia&Co. ($$$)

This company is a box company. You sign up for a delivery system that can be between twice a month or every other month. It's neat because you explain your style through a questionnaire and you can connect your social media (Pinterest, Instagram, etc.) and they can get a glimpse of your style. You also set out your budget, the lowest tier was $40-$70, which means any one of the five items you'll receive in the box will be priced between that. They have a discount where you'll save 20% if you buy all five items in your box.

5. Maurices ($$$)

I've been buying dresses and jeans from Maurices for years. They're one of the first stores that made me want to dress nicely. This store is reliable and has fashionable items.

6. Amazon ($-$$$)

Amazon is one of the greatest online stores in the world (if not thegreatest). It changed Black Friday shopping and Christmas shopping forever. It also has some great plus-size clothes. It's also reliable because people actually leave comments and ratings.

7. Boohoo.com ($$$)

Fashion. Fashion. Fashion. This site has all of the razzle dazzle and it's connected to Kylie Jenner. It's a tad pricey but the clothes are super cute.

8. Gamiss.com ($)

Discounts galore. Cute clothes that can make an impact on any body type. Check it out and see how much you can save.

(BONUS) Old Navy ($$)

I've been a fan of Old Navy dresses since I was in the 7th grade (that was eight years ago). They fit and they're flattering. They also have rad sales throughout the year.

28 Daily Thoughts of College Students

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
