Curvy women are underrepresented and underappreciated in today’s world. Through all of that, there are still plenty of beauties making it okay for plus size women to love the skin they’re in, in clothes that make them feel good, and look even better. But sometimes, finding an affordable and fashionable place to buy plus size clothing can be like trying a needle in a haystack. For the curvaceous female looking to step out and show out this summer. Here are ten of the best places to get affordable fashion for the summer of 2017.

1.Forever 21 Plus (Price Range: $)

A well known, but reliable, favorite of many girls. Forever 21’s plus size selections is growing every single year both in store and online. This year, the plus size line is featuring a lot of cut-outs, off-the-shoulder pieces and florals that work great for spring, but will also transition very well into the summer. The swimsuit line this year is also featuring some gorgeous high-waisted two-pieces in tropical patterns, and full-coverage one-pieces in bold, neon colors. And as always, they're at an affordable price! If your closet is seriously lacking in warm weather items but you're budget is a bit limited, Forever 21 may be the perfect place to start grabbing some basics, signature items, and one or two statement pieces.

2.GS Loves Me (Price Range: $)

A store with a vast online collection that doesn't get nearly enough recognition. GS Loves Me outfits women of all sizes. The store is wonderful for fashion at any time of year and the spring/summer seasons are no exception. Whether you're the classic and conservative type or the daring plus size fashionista, this site has it all. GS Loves me has some of the best rompers and one pieces. No matter if you want to wear something cute and modest, or show off every curve you have, the site is sure to have something from the girl who prefers to make a subtle statement or the one that wants to stand out.

One of the favorites in plus size fashion, since its invention in 2001 Torrid has been leading the way in stylish and trendy fashions for plus size women. The spring and summer collections are trickling into the online shops and in-store as well. Torrid can sometimes be a bit more on the expensive side, but fortunately with thew great deals and discounts they have, good deals are still available. The collections feature some wonderful dresses that are versatile; they work for the office, a Sunday brunch, or anything else you could ask for. The company has also launched a Disney inspired line which takes influence from favorite princesses and incorporates them into items that can be worn everyday.

4.Swimsuits For All (Price Range: $$$)

The site that's changing the plus-size swimsuit industry as we know it! Swimsuits for all have some of the best swimsuits available. Supermodel Ashley Graham and Instagram style icon Gabbi Fresh both have lines on sale there now. Along with fabulous swimsuits, there are also some magnificent cover ups and beach attire. The suits can be a bit up there in price, but every lady knows that investing in a good swimsuit is always worth it! Who says plus size swimwear can't be sexy?

Fashion to Figure is becoming one of the best retailers of plus size fashion available. Like many of the others on this list, the retailer is straying away from the old conventions of plus size fashion that encourages curvy girls to cover up. This site is all about enhancing and accentuating the body that you have! And since the store was founded by two of the great-grandchildren of the founder of Lane Bryant (Lena Bryant), the company is taking the traditions of plus size clothing created by the older generation to a new level.

6. Curvy Sense (Price Range $)

Another little known outfitter that is growing in popularity, Curvy Sense has some of the most up-to-date fashions for plus size women. Their new arrivals feature a ton of rompers and pieces with floral prints and lace. These touches are paired with modern cuts that give current trends a classic feel that allow a wide variety of women to find something that will fit their fashion needs.

7. ASOS Curve (Price Range: $$- $$$)

ASOS has a very wide variety of clothing for women of all sizes and style choices. The curve section is no exception. The site gathers clothing options from a wide variety of designers and companies all in one place.
