With summer coming to an end and fall just around the corner, you might be wondering what to do when the beach is no longer an option. How will you and your friends have fun if you can't swim in your pool? What will you do instead of going out for ice cream when its just too cold? Well have no fear, this list will provide some wonderful places to go and things to do now that fall is here!

1. Highland Farm Orchard.

Highland Farm Orchard has 11 different types of apple to pick as well as hay rides on a reservation only basis. Apple picking prices are as follows: $10 for 1/2-peck bag (approx. 5 pounds), $20 for 1-peck bag (approx. 10 pounds), $30 for 1/2-bushel bag (approx. 20 pounds)

2. Have a S'mores Party!

Almost everyone loves a crackling campfire and s'mores, but have you ever tried making s'mores with something other than Hershey's chocolate? Reese's cups, cookies and cream chocolate and Krackle bars make amazing substitutes!

3. C.N. Smith Farm.

Pick your own apples, blueberries, nectarines, peas, peaches, pumpkins, raspberries, raspberries, strawberries and fresh eggs. There is also a cider mill (fresh apple cider made on the premises), concessions/refreshment stand, picnic area and farm animals.

4. Have a Movie Night.

Get a movie from Redbox, pop some popcorn and enjoy the movie! Some good new movie choices are "The Jungle Book," "Central Intelligence," "Batman vs. Superman," and "The Good Dinosaur." Or get an early start on your favorite Halloween flicks!

5. Saucuk Corn Maze.

With new designs each year, you'll never get bored of this corn maze!

6. Laser Gate.

Laser Gate in Fall River is the beat place to play either with strangers or with a group of friends. The two level arena has a maze and many hiding spots. In addition to laser tag, there is also arcade games, bumber cars, mini golf, and food.

7. Middleboro's Fall Fest 2016.

There will be vendors/crafters, activities for kids, food, bake sales and much more!
Saturday Sept. 10, 9 am - 2 pm Middleboro Town Hall Lawn.

8. Lakeville Haunted House

The Lakeville Haunted House is open Fridays and Saturdays in October. Tickets can be bought from 6-10 p.m. for $15 dollars each. Volunteers are also welcomed, for those who want to participate but not exactly go through it. (Having volunteered before, I can honestly say it is quite the experience and I highly recommend going).
