7 Reasons Cats Are Always The Better Choice
Tyler Tolbert

Cats are a girl's best friend as dogs are a guy's best friend, well most of them anyway. Don’t get me wrong I love my pups and all my other pets, but cats are better. Cats are always the better choice over boys, dogs, and everything. Cats are life.

1. First of all, cats are cats.

That should need no explanation. I believe in love at first sight, who am I kitten? I only believe in love at first sight if it is a cat.

2. Cats don't jump and slobber on you when they are excited to see you.

When you get home from a long day at work you come home to a sweet cuddly cat, but only if they are in the mood to cuddle.

3. Cats have an attitude so why have a guy with another?

Face it, girls, we all have an attitude and so do our cats so, why do we need a guy who has a third attitude to throw into the equation. They better watch their cat-tiude.

4. Cats are good listeners.

They don't judge you, and if they do they do silently because they can't talk, but don't take it purr-sonal.

5. All cats do is sleep and they are supuurr cute when they do.

Cats are always adorable, but have you saw a sleeping cat? There is nothing cuter then a cuddled up cat sleeping its life away.

6. And you can have more than one cat.

Cats may get jealous and are territorial, but eventually, they will get along with their new sibling. And because we can't have more than one guy why not have 20 cats?

7. If you can't find a guy to get married to cats are always a good back u plan.

Let's not get hiss-terical but since when is it not acceptable to be a cat lady. Simply cats are the best so why not love the best?.

Needless to say, cats are Puuurrfect.

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
