  1. 8:30am and I’m already yawning in Tisch?
  2. How did I even end up in Tisch? I hate it here.
  3. Anyway, I should probably get some coffee.
  4. Or should I wait a little longer to see if I can shake this tiredness?
  5. No, when does that ever even work?
  6. Yeah okay I’ll walk to the Rez to get an espresso.
  7. I know I get jittery if I drink it
  8. But I’m going to have it anyway.
  9. Great, now I have my coffee.
  10. Wait, but now I have to hold it while I’m walking.
  11. Okay, now it’s spilling everywhere.
  12. Was this actually worth it?
  13. Let me take a sip.
  14. WOW okay it’s way too hot.
  15. Of course it’s hot, I just got this like 5 minutes ago.
  16. Wait, oh no I think I burned my tongue.
  17. This coffee burned my tongue.
  18. I guess this just goes to show that the things you love the most will hurt you the most.
  19. Burned my tongue, but still going to drink it.
  20. Okay, time to head to my 9:30.
  21. I think I’ll survive with this coffee in my hand.
  22. NO, actually.
  23. With this coffee I am UNSTOPPABLE.
  24. I will destroy this 9:30 class
  25. Even though it’s just a lecture and I’m sitting there taking notes for 50 minutes
  26. It’s okay, I’ll just slowly sip on this coffee to wake up.
  27. Okay, class time now.
  28. I love this coffee but I just don’t like HOLDING IT in class.
  29. Plus these desks are so small
  30. Bromfield-Pearson, why are your desks SO SMALL
  31. And SLANTED!
  32. So even if I put my coffee on it, it’s just gonna slide down and probably get all over me.
  33. Because I’m a mess.
  34. A freaking mess.
  35. But that’s okay.
  36. I need this coffee to make it through the day.
  37. 9:40am.
  38. Oh my goodness.
  39. I thought for sure that I’ve been in class for 30 minutes already.
  40. Okay, just have to be patient.
  41. Oh wait, I’m jittery all of a sudden.
  42. Oh no.
  43. My heart feels like it’s beating really fast now.
  44. Yeah that’s definitely not math doing that to me.
  45. Oh my goodness.
  46. This espresso is killing me.
  47. I cannot sit still at all.
  48. And it’s only 9:42 am.
  49. Oh my gosh. I still have to sit in this chair for another 40 minutes.
  50. I can definitely do this.
  51. No I can’t. My leg is shaking like crazy.
  52. Okay I need to leave class to take a walk or something.
  53. Need to walk off this energy.
  54. How long can I stay out of class and get away with it?
  55. Let’s see.
  56. Okay I’m back.
  57. Wow that was only like 2 minutes.
  58. It felt like at least 5.
  59. Oh well.
  60. Can’t wait to get out of this class.
  61. Wait.
  62. If I’m so jittery after a few sips why am I still drinking it?’
  63. Once again, the thing I love the most has turned around to hurt me.
  64. Wow.
  65. This coffee is giving me so much energy though.
  66. I feel like I could write forever.
  67. TRIANGLE
  68. COMPUTER
  69. WORDS
  70. Wow I know so many words!!
  71. This caffeine is doing crazy things to me, oh my goodness.
  72. Am I going to crash later?
  73. Maybe.
  74. Should I stop drinking this coffee?
  75. Probably.
  76. Am I going to get again tomorrow?
  77. Yes, of course.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Syllabus Week As Told By Kourtney Kardashian

Feeling Lost During Syllabus Week? You're Not Alone!

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
