The University of Maine in Orono is a good sized school, but numerous times I've heard people say (and even said myself) that there is nothing to do there. Well, here are 75 things you can– and should–try to do before you graduate:


1. Go to a hockey game and sit in the student section.

2. High-five the "Naked Five."

3. Get your picture taken with Bananas, the Bear.

4. Go to a homecoming football game.

5. Tailgate in the parking lot.

6. Attend the pub crawl.

7. Play Ooze-Ball on Maine Day.

8. See a show at the Collins Center.

9. Walk the bike trail in the fall.

10. Climb the climbing wall at Maine Bound Center.

11. Attend a concert at the Bangor Waterfront.

12. Go to Late Night at the dinning halls.

13. Go to a basketball game.

14. Spend a day shopping at the Bangor Mall.

15. Order OHOP.

16. Join a Smash Bro's tournament.

17. Be a "green biker" on Earth Day.
