Season 12 of "The Bachelorette" brought us on a roller coaster ride of turmoil and tears. One second we were rooting for Robby, the all-around nice guy that loved her from the start, and the next we were pulling for Jordan, the charismatic “player” (and I’m not just talking about football) that stole JoJo’s heart the second he stepped out of that limo in his almost uncomfortably tight pants. And since the next season of the bachelor seems like it’s a million years away (*cough* it better be Luke *cough*), let’s take a look at the thoughts we had while watching this season’s finale to pass the time.

1. Wow Chris Harrison is awkward. But I love him.

2. Where’s Wells?

3. Of Course Chad is there but Wells isn’t smh.

4. Ok Ok Ok let’s start this.

5. Why doesn’t JoJo’s mom’s face move?

6. JoJo’s mom looks like Hilary Duff’s stepmother in A Cinderella Story.

7. Wait but which one is her dad…

8. Oh they’re her brothers? I really thought that was her Dad…

9. But who made them that meal? Who’s house is this? What?

10. JoJo’s mom was def Regina George’s mom.

11. I think her mom has had one too many lip fillers.

12. Where is her Dad??

13. OH THAT”S HER DAD

14. His mustache is crucial.

15. Why are Jordan’s teeth so white? Why can’t we see her father’s teeth at all??

16. What is that vehicle and why is it taking Jordan away?

17. Here it comes again, with Robby…

18. He’s so sweet. But I just don’t know if he’s completely straight…

19. “I’m gonna be myself” Good idea Rob.

20. Robby’s sunburn honestly hurts to look at. But I can’t take my eyes off of it.

21. WOAH THERE bro #1. Jordan would be a GREAT New Year’s Eve date, and every other holiday date. I don’t appreciate your blatant favoritism.

22. Seems like Robbie is winning.

23. Use “Joelle Hannah Fletcher” and “Dr. Fletcher” in the same conversation, Robby is thriving.

24. He’s killing it with the family. And he loves her so much <3

25. If she doesn’t pick Robby then I don’t believe in love.

26. “Husband material," damn right he is.

27. JoJo is crying because only ONE of the TWO men she loves asked her parents for their blessing on his proposal and I’m crying because I can’t even get a text back but yeah how sad for you JoJo.

28. And now a scene of JoJo crying. Again.

29. Let’s face it, Jordan’s the player every girl wants to change and Robby is the token nice guy.

30. Maybe if you scratch your head more it will help you think more clearly?

31. What is this water montage…

32. So like…did she swim in her makeup or not wear any….what setting spray are you using JoJo??

33. She talks to Robby like hes’s her best friend’s little brother that she knows has always had a crush on her.

34. “I had some photos printed” ok Robby that is pretty thoughtful of you.

35. He loves her so much but I just don’t see the chemistry.

36. Jordan’s date now yay.

37. She doesn’t seem that enthusiastic to see him…

38. Take a shot every time Jordan touches his hair.

39. This date is crucial and the vibes just aren’t there.

40. Damn JoJo, put him on the spot to get what you want. Good move.

41. This tension omg.

42. Well yea JoJo, he’s scared because he only has a 50% chance that you’ll say yes to his proposal. Girl chill.

43. HE WAS JUST HONEST WITH YOU JOJO LIKE WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED HIM TO SAY??

44. She’s snaking to get him to propose…

45. Okay, so Jordan messed up by not asking for her hand. But it’s not like aren’t on the same island as her parents…

46. There are fewer things in life that make me less comfortable than watching Robby groom himself.

47. Shirtless Jordan. Yes.

48. Calling her parents, the suspense is killing me.

49. Nervous rambling about his feelings. Good sign.

50. He got the approval!!

51. YES THAT RING. YES Jordan YES.

52. She looks like a real life Princess.

53. I wonder how much her dress costs because I think I know my next formal look…

54. Look at that reaction to his letter. She’s so in love with Jordan.

55. Close up on the ring ft. a nicely manicured Jordan…

56. Dramatic music to go with the dramatic views…

57. Oh no here it comes…

58. It’s bad news. Robby. Just look at her face :(

59. Aw JoJo. So sweet to not take that moment from him.

60. Broken. I am broken.

61. But look at that dress billow in the wind. So majestic.

62. Wow she got over that pretty fast.

63. Here Jordan comes.

64. Wow I have butterflies.

65. I’ve known it from the first time they locked eyes.

66. They’re soul mates for sure.

67. DON’T BE A PLAYER JORDAN I BELIEVE IN YOU AMERICA BELIEVES IN YOU.

68. I BELIEVE IN LOVE AGAIN.

69. HERE IT IS HERE IT IS IT’S REALLY HAPPENING

70. LOOK at her face. She is over-the-moon happy.

71. Soul mates exist. True love exists.

72. I should really apply for this show.

73. Now who’s the next bachelor?

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
