One thing that I have been noticing - that I have also mentioned before - is that when I go into a lot of popular and well-known stores, the plus size sections for women and young girls are expanding. There are more and more clothing items that fit in with the trends of today, and there are items that can help make you feel good about what you see in the mirror no matter what size you are. I see that as a chance being given to women like me to feel liberated in anything she wants to put on her body and to still feel like she can rock a similar outfit to the smaller girl next to her. I'm writing this article because when I go online to look at women's fashion, I see a lot of different fashion and outfit ideas for thinner females, but don't see as many for the curvier girls. So, I'd like to be at least one person to help change that. With these next few outfits that are listed, I know that it would be difficult to find the exact ones in stores, but these are just ideas for inspiration on looks that you might be trying to go for. Here are 7 winter and fall outfit ideas for curvy girls and women:

1.

This first outfit is a light pink low turtle neck paired with a nice pair of light blue jeans and light brown leather boots. I picked this as my first outfit because it's something that could work for both seasons and is super comfortable while also look super stylish without having to try. It's especially perfect on those days where you're feeling a little lazy that morning and want to feel cozy while also looking nice. The other nice thing about is that its simple and not flashy, but can still be an eye-catcher. (I apologize if the picture is blurry)

2.

This next outfit is definitely one of my favorites. I love it because because when you put every piece of this outfit together looks extremely stylish. Underneath is a nicely designed peplum shirt that is perfect for is you want to show off your curves. Below that - again - is a pair of nice light blue jeans as well as awesome black knee-high boots. This entire outfit is nicely thrown together with a white military jacket. The outfit is perfect for when you feel like dressing to impress or even if you feel like going into the city.

3.

One thing I will always enforce is that it is good to try to exercise at least a few times a week. It's so important to try to stay in motion and I don't mean that for the main purpose of weight loss but for the purpose of just being healthy and getting some good blood flow. So, I chose this for my fall and winter workout outfit which is just your basic long-sleeve workout shirt, designed workout pants and running shoes.

4.

For this next picture, I chose to wear dark pants and dark boots for the purpose of emphasizing the jacket. It is a nice and warm brown jacket with two front button-up pockets on the bottom and two on the top and a detachable fur hood. It also has a double zipper as well abstains down the middle. If you are looking for a jacket that is similar to this, good stores to check are stores like "Lane Bryant" (wink* wink*).

5.

This outfit is another one of my favorites and as you can tell by the tree in the background, it's perfect for the holidays if you decide to dress up. It is a wine red fitted v-cut dress with a string design on it, an attached choker, and is made in a peplum style which - again - is perfect for when you show off the curves your mama gave ya! All joking aside, it's fun and feels good to wear. It is paired off with ankle-high boots that zipper up on the sides and have a little heel to them.

6.

This outfit is made up of just a plain white t-shirt, along with light blue jeans, ankle high boots with a heel, and a comfortable leather jacket. This is a perfect hangout outfit or for when your gonna go grab some dinner with friends or family. It is simple, but when put all together, can make you feel very fashionable.

7.

This next outfit is actually a pretty random one, but one that I had fun wearing and wore it just because (and is also casual). Underneath I am wearing a floral patterned shirt with a gray and black patterned open-sweater, black comfy leggings, and brown ankle-high boots with laces. In the picture I am also wearing and red snapback hat (because i was just not having the best hair day). It has been said to try not to clash a design with another design but this was just a day where I was having a carefree moment and honestly was not worried if anything matched or not, and it is perfectly fine to have days like that.

From now on, I will be trying to write at least one article where I go into outfit ideas for every season. I hope you all enjoyed!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
