Spring weather is finally upon us and that means the end of boot season. It's no secret Converse All-Stars are one of the most popular shoe choices and have been for awhile now as they continue to dominate the college footwear scene. Originally the favored shoe of basketball players. It wasn't until the brand filed for bankruptcy in 2001 and was taken under new ownership that the shoes achieved mainstream popularity worldwide. Rising weather temperatures means even more options to pair with these versatile shoes. Below are different ways you can style your Converse for spring.

1. The 'Jeans and a Tee' Look

You can never go wrong pairing your Converse with jeans and a tee. The color and style of jeans are completely up to you as well as the fit and style of the t-shirt. It's quick, easy and fuss-free, perfect for a busy school day. Throw on a pair of shades and you're good to go. (A bright spring bag is optional).

2. The 'Spring Dress' Look

As long as the weather permits, and feeling a bit girly, might as well break out your spring dress and pair your Converse with it.

3. The 'Maxi Dress and Jean Jacket' Look

For days when the weather is a bit chillier, you can easily throw on a maxi dress and a jean jacket, which never goes out of style.

4. The 'Striped Tee and Shorts' Look

This outfit featuring a quarter-length sleeve shirt and colorful shorts is a the perfect combination of dressy and casual to pair with your Converse.

5. The 'Skirt and Sweatshirt Combo' Look

On days where you're feeling a tad fancier but are strapped for time (which, let's face it, is every day) you can pair your Converse with a cute pencil skirt and simple sweatshirt-type top, making this a cute and quick outfit without being prissy or stuffy.

6. The 'Blazer and Black Jeans' Look

Why not step it up a notch and add a blazer to your cool yet casual look? You can pair it with dark jeans and a basic short-sleeve top like above, or a skirt and blouse with your shoes.

7. The 'Ultimate Casual' Look

Everybody loves leggings. They're versatile and comfy, making them a staple in every college girl's wardrobe. And what's not to love about a sweatshirt? This outfit can take you anywhere from running errands, to class or the library. Wear these items with a pair of Converse and you're good to go. (Bright color optional).

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
