I struggled with embracing my femininity for the majority of my life. I'm not saying by any means that it’s bad to disregard your gender orientation, but for those who have had the hardest time feeling like a woman when you wanted to, I hope you'll give these a try.
1. Get yourself some flowers.
I know it might sound weird, but it really isn’t. You don’t need anyone to surprise you with flowers because you need to first love yourself. Prove it to yourself by stopping by and picking up some tulips, roses, or hydrangeas.
2. Try cooking or baking.
Cuisine is not limited to anyone, so whenever I cook or bake something nice, I give it to a friend and instantly feel more lovely and kind.
3. Nails
Long nails might not be your thing, but why not try it out? Of course if you’re worried it might hinder your performance in physical components then it’s better to stick with a simple manicure. Otherwise, acrylics or gel nails will make you feel more beautiful and taken care of.
4. Put yourself together with some makeup.
Try buying some nice products with good reviews to make you look and feel luxurious when you’re out. For the longest time, I avoided makeup and it was a chore. However when I finally started to spend a little bit more time and dedication into my physical appearance, I started to enjoy it.
5. Workout
The gym might be gross, but working out will shape your health and body. You hardly hear anybody regretting a workout because it’s always worth feeling tired and sweaty temporarily for more long lasting results. Maybe try to wear some cute, motivating workout gear (and not all fitness apparel are ridiculously expensive).
6. Lingerie or Underwear shopping
You might feel awkward being at Victoria’s Secret or Aerie for the first time, but embrace it. People go in there for a reason. Lingerie and panties makes them feel sexier and more attractive.
7. Change your hair up.
Changing the cut and color of my hair helped me refresh myself. I feel good when I do something new to help me look more feminine and more beautiful.
Hope this helps to inspire you to love and take care of yourself more!
