7 Ways That Grey's Anatomy Accurately Describes College

Being an avid Grey's Anatomy fan, I have noticed that the college experience seems to be a lot like being a doctor on Grey's Anatomy. There are highs, lows, times when you have absolutely no idea what you are doing, mental breakdowns, and some awesome friends who pretty much always have your back. There are people who get on your nerves, you get sick of cafeteria food, and the number of hours you sleep each night are minimum. Here are ten of the most apparent ways that Grey's Anatomy describes college....

1. When you get sick of the food in the dining hall

The food in the dining hall is good for maybe the first two weeks and then all you want is a nice home cooked anything.

2. When the people in your major start dropping out

Barely one whole semester in and they are dropping like flies.

3. When you are on your third mental breakdown of the semester

It's fine. It's fine. Everything is just fine.

4. When all of your professors decide to assign 3 papers, 5 exams, and 6.3 homework assignments before finals

It's the most wonderful time of the year....NOT.

5. When you realize how much debt you're going to be in

It is all fun and games until you graduate and have no money.

6. When you just need a break

Sometimes, to keep from going insane, you need to take a dance break. You need to shut up, turn the music on, and dance it out like the twisted sisters.

7. When you find your college BFF

When you find them do not let them go. Make them your person.

SHAMELESS PLUG: if you have not given Grey's Anatomy a chance yet, now it the time. There is no better time than the present.

(For Girls Who Are Interested In Greek Life)

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
