So it's finally the end of the semester (yay to you for surviving), and whether you're already on your way back to your hometown or you're finishing up that last paper or project or maybe even studying for that final exam, you're probably wondering what exactly are you going to do after finals. Well fret not because I have a couple ideas for how you can spend your month away from all of your academic responsibilities.
1. Sleep. It's been a super long semester, get some sleep you deserve it. Besides, how are you going to do tons of fun stuff over break if you're still sleep deprived from those all nighters over the course of the semester.
2. Throw away any unnecessary course materials. As silly as it may sound nothing says "I survived the semester" more than gathering all your notes and quizzes and throwing them all in the trash, unless of course you want to be quite the scholar and save the course material for future reference.
3. Lounge around. Take some time out for yourself, drink some of your favorite tea, read a book simply for leisure, listen to your favorite album, make a playlist of some of your favorite songs, maybe even give yourself a facial. These are the moments that come few and far between in the life of a college student.
4. Pursue your hobbies. Now is the time to do all the things that make you happy, but you simply do not have time for. Maybe it's writing, maybe it's dancing, whatever it is go forth and be great!
5. Eat really yummy food. You owe it to yourself, and to your stomach for all those not so great meals at the dining halls and all those late night snack runs to the 7-11.
6. Binge watch and catch up on your favorite shows. I mean unless of course you avoided all your responsibilities during the semester and you're already all caught up on your favorite shows.
7. Spend time with family and friends. You haven't seen them all semester and besides they're the ones that hold it down and keep you grounded all semester so they deserve some of your time and attention.
So what are you waiting for? Go and celebrate the end of the semester!
