The holiday decorations have been taken down, the presents are all unwrapped, and all the parties are over. Now what? We're headed back to work and school, with the dead of winter setting in and spring break incredibly far away. Here are seven ways to get past the post-holiday blues!

1. Find things to look forward to.

What's next?? Even if it's far off in the distance, find something you're incredibly excited for. For me, I'm looking forward to going back to my summer job at camp. I have a countdown on my phone, and even though it's still over 100 days away, each day is one day closer to going back.

2. Change your thinking.

"We have to wait another year for the holidays." Either we can take this in a negative way, or we can think of all the possibilities in-between now and next year.

3. Do something fun every week.

This will go a very long way in alleviating the blues. Movies, dinner dates, bubble baths, whatever you'd like!

4. Take care of yourself.

During the holidays, we tend to eat poorly, drink a lot and skip our workouts. After the holiday season, try to get back into your workout habits (or try new ones!), eat lots of fruits and vegetables, drink plenty of water and get enough sleep.

5. Get outside.

Even if it's just for a few minutes during a lunch break, spend some time outside in the fresh air.

6. Spend time with others.

During the holidays, we spend a lot of time with friends and family. But once everyone leaves, we feel very alone again. So make sure you spend time with those you love everyday, for at least a few minutes.

7. Make a tribute to the holiday.

Make a scrapbook, write down your favorite memories or create a holiday playlist. That way the memories will always be there if you need them on a rough day.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
