7 Very Real Reasons To Be Excited For Fall

We all may have our different opinions about fall, but you have to admit, there are some things that everyone can relate to. After all, it's the season that gives us the chance to turn over a new leaf (literally), get a new wardrobe, and celebrate some kick ass holidays. Forget about hay rides, corn mazes, the crunching of the leaves, and other aesthetically pleasing aspects of the season and let's focus on the very real things that make us happy to be rid of summer and say hello to fall.

1. BIG ASS SWEATERS.

I don't about you, but I'm a huge sweater person. There's something about being wrapped up in these huge, comfy pieces of clothing and being able to look cute at the same time. Plus, sweaters look great on anyone. The bigger the sweater, the better. Now, who's ready to bring their sweaters out of hibernation?

2. Not having to shave, THANK GOD! Leggings for days.

It doesn't get any better than this. Summer is more than enough time to have to shave. We love our dresses, skirts, and shorts but by the end of the season, we're all ready to not have to shave every single day or every two days. And if you are one of the girls who never feels the need to shave her legs, more power to you. Goals.

3. Halloween.

Who isn't excited about Halloween? Candy, scary movies, costume parties, haunted houses, and let's be honest, you're never too old to go trick or treating. Just make up some excuse like, "Oh I'm just tagging along and taking care of my little brother/sister/niece/nephew." No big deal.

4. The obsession over hot drinks like teas and lattes.

Yes, we know pumpkin flavored beverages are all the rage during the fall but that isn't the only thing we should be excited for. We can actually have hot drinks and worry about starting to sweat after a couple of sips. I love the cold and the fact that it's simply so pleasing to warm up with a nice hot tea or latte is one of the best things in the world.

5. Fireplaces.

Now, this one might be a bit borderline cliche because it's not like we're going to be near one at all times or that it'll be like the movies we're the crackle is "just right" and it gives off just the right amount of heat. In reality, you're really only going stay close to one of these for a few minutes until you start to sweat under your cozy sweater. Still, I'd warm up by the fireplace than the opposite situation, cold.

6. Being able to breathe during a jog.

I don't know about you but personally, jogging in the cold feels like one of the best things in the world. If you haven't tried it, you should. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it definitely beats being able to run for only five seconds in the scolding heat and feeling like death after about a minute. I find myself saying that it's way too hot to go running in this heat but as soon as the temperature goes down, it'll be much easier to run and not feel as tired while doing it.

7. Not sweating 24/7.

Whether it's climbing just one flight of stairs or walking to class, by the time you get to your destination, you're already sweating like crazy for no reason. WHAT IS THAT ALL ABOUT?! I understand it's a normal bodily reaction to heat but come on, we just want to stay smelling nice. Who else is ready to not sweat their make-up off after one class or worry about sweat stains?

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
