As soon as you thought Crocs were a thing of the past, they've made a return this summer with new stores, commercials, and slogans. And whether you're a fan of this footwear or not, you have to admit there's a reason they're still around. Reviews say they're super comfortable and serve as better foot protection than sandals, but there's more to Crocs than you might think. Here are seven uses for Crocs other than actually wearing them.

1. Hold your toothbrush.

Don't leave your toothbrush laying around the sink picking up germs. Use Crocs to support your toothbrush in an upright position. And why store just one? Crocs have at least seven places to keep all your family's toothbrushes in place.

2. Pot your flowers.

Tired of planting your flowers in those boring ceramic pots? Animals chewing away at your vegetables? Use Crocs to hang your plants away from the ground and even add a splash of color to your garden.

3. Give your pup a nice bed.

No one looks more adorable in Crocs than puppies, and we love our dogs and our dogs love us. So why not give back to our furry best friends with a nice comfy Croc? Your dog is sure to love their new home.

4. Sport an exotic tan line.

Awkward tan lines happen anyway, so why not embrace it? Throw on a pair of Crocs and let the sun do the rest. People are sure to turn heads when they catch a glimpse of this unique and polka dotted design on your feet.

5. Expand your sticker collection.

If you're looking for a new place to store your sticker collection, buy a pair of Crocs. The holes will let you know exactly where to place each sticker and now you can take your stickers on the go hands free and your crocs are officially customized.

6. Run water through for a sprinkler.

Forgot to bring the sprinkler? Don't worry! With Crocs you can easily run the water right through your shoe and just like that, you have your sprinkler for kids and adults alike to have a blast with.

7. Create a sailboat for your kids.

Crocs are light and quite easy to attach other things to and so they're perfect for crafts like this one. Finally your kids can have the boat for their toys to sail off into the water with and you can be sure it will always be with them because it will be on their feet.

Some say Crocs are a fashion mistake. Some wouldn't be caught dead wearing them. But then others think the Croc is misunderstood and they may even endorse it. And either way, they're undeniably back for a reason this summer. So next time you see or hear of Crocs, don't write them off so quickly because as it turns out, there's more to Crocs than meets the eye.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
