It seems that over the last few years Taco Bell has made a huge comeback. Don't believe me? Did you see their clothing collaboration with Forever 21?

If that doesn't scream "comeback," I don't know what does. I, myself, happen to be a big Taco Bell fan. It's actually one of the only fast food restaurants that I eat at.

Taco Bell has a lot to offer and sometimes it can be hard to choose what to order. So here are 7 underrated items on the menu that you need to try ASAP (some are even from the "secret menu", shhh).

1. Spicy Potato Soft Taco

First of all, anything with potatoes is bound to be delicious. Secondly, if you ever had the Crispy Potato Soft Taco that was discontinued, this is really similar.

Plus I have a hack for you: ask to substitute spicy ranch for the chipotle sauce and it will be like they never discontinued it! It's an extra 30 cents, but trust me it's worth it.

2. The Cheesarito

This item comes straight from the secret menu. It has all the convenience of a burrito, meaning you can eat it on the go.

This item entails gooey cheese, scallions, and taco sauce all wrapped up in a warm soft shell. To order, simply ask for melted cheese, scallions, and taco sauce wrapped in a soft taco shell.

3. Quesadillas

Taco Bell's quesadillas are great, to begin with. You can get grilled chicken, steak, or if you're boring like my sister, you can just get cheese.

But wait, there's more! If you ask for your quesadilla to be grilled twice as long, your life will be forever changed. This gives you an extra crispy outer shell to your quesadilla, while still containing the heavenly, gooey center.

4. Mexican Pizza

This item has been on the menu for quite some time but isn't talked about much. It has everything you could need on a Mexican pizza; beef, tomatoes, beans, cheese, and Mexican pizza sauce.

5. Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes

As previously stated, anything with potatoes is going to be great. This party in a bowl contains fried potatoes, nacho cheese sauce, and sour cream. Plus, it's only $1.49!

6. Cheesy Roll Up

This item is not only from the dollar menu, but it's perfect for when you're craving Taco Bell but not quite hungry enough for a full meal.

7. Cinnamon Twists

This is another bomb item from the dollar menu! This sweet snack is bound to satisfy anyone's sweet tooth. It's like eating sugary little clouds!

I'll never forget the day that someone told me these words: "Madison, I think you're a good friend to everyone but yourself." I stood there completely in awe of that statement. Before that day, I never really thought about being a friend to myself, and at the time, I didn't really know what it meant. Now, I realize that you can't fully be there for other people unless you're there for yourself, too. You can't show up for others until you're willing to show up for yourself.
