I have finally made it, the beginning of the end, I'm now a senior in high school. Ever since the start of my high school career I have looked up to the previous senior classes and notice many had similar takes on how they felt and acted during their final year in high school. With that said here are a few types of seniors you will meet this upcoming year.

1. The Cruiser

Maybe they know their a shoe-in to be accepted into their dream school or would be perfectly happy with their safety school. This iconic high school archetype really has no energy to spare outside of passing their classes and being voted worst case of "senior-itis". They can typically be seen wearing a t-shirt that may have doubled as their pajamas the previous night and leggings.

2. The Reforming Procrastinator

This person is almost the complete opposite The Cruiser. Rather than working hard throughout their high school years, they were satisfied with just passing. But when the realization of how competitive it is to get into any college hits them, these people get down to work. This type of student will most likely be found cramming homework, projects and extra credit in at the library all while wishing they had spent more time studying during the previous years.

3. The One with the Bucket List

They have all sorts of ideas, trips and plans mapped up in their head for their senior year to be the best it could possibly be. Whether or not they do actually accomplish their to-do list before they graduate depends on the person, but you can be sure that their final year in high school will be one that they remember.

4. M.I.A

"Do they still go here?", "I thought they moved" will typically be said when their name is brought up. This person seems to be on the verge of breaking the world record of most absences because of how little they actually do show up to school. Harshly contrasting their previous perfect attendance awards the senior that goes M.I.A typically misses more classes than they show up to. But somehow they always manage to easily ace every course they take.

5. The One in Charge

This person is either a member, captain or president of ever honors society, club, and team your school has to offer (including the ones you had no idea existed). It honestly amazes everyone that this person has time to sleep, and is in fact a human. But, despite having a resume that even ivy league colleges find attractive, they will still manage to be nervous about their college plans.

6. The One Left Behind

A solid majority of this person's friends have already graduated and are now in college. Typically feeling abandoned, they live for long weekends off to go visit their friends on campus and holiday breaks when everyone comes home. Although they try to make the most of their senior year, their halfway out the door with their college pals.

7. The Committed

Typically D-1 bound this person's biggest worry is their sport. They are in love with the school that they have committed themselves to and will almost always be seen representing in their gear. Unlike The Cruiser, this senior still has to worry about keeping their grades up and dominating in their sport to remain eligible for their scholarship.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
