Winter break is around the corner but do you know what that means? The end of the semester is also approaching. Buckle up your seat belts ladies and gents because this is going to be a long week of finals. You might have one, or even two others might have seven or maybe five. It doesn’t matter the number you still have to sit down and study for several hours.

Now, aren’t we all procrastinators sometimes? Most of the time? Or always? Those are questions you can answer for yourself.

Here I’m going to point out the seven most common procrastinators.

1. The adrenaline junkie

It’s 11:50 and the deadline for the homework is 11:59 this procrastinator loves the action. Starts writing that five-page essay like he or she knows what they are talking about.

2. The “I’ll start at 7:00”

This procrastinator decides to start at a specific time, without noticing that the time he or she choose keeps on changing, magically. Oh, it’s 7:30 I guess I can start at 8:00. Oh wait it’s 12:00, I better go to bed.

3. The sleep in and wake up early

Honestly, I've experienced many times this scenario.

“I’m going to bed at 12:00 and I will wake up at 5 am.” Sure, 5 am turns into a multiple set of alarms ringing and snoozing until the procrastinator wakes up at 12pm. Losing an entire day of studying. Sometimes this procrastinator even adds “I’ll gym in the morning and then study.” I’ll believe it when I see it.

4. The worrier

“I have five tests, two tomorrow , three on Thursday, OMG I will fail”. No, you are just panicking. “I can’t study for all of them, I will definitely fail at least two.” This one can also be considered the “perfectionist.”

5. The social media liar (A.K.A Attention Seeker)

Snapchats of many books, highlighters, RedBulls and the time you study is not the correct way to “show off” how much you study. In your mind you might think “wow, I’ve done so much”, in reality you just believe your own Snapchat/Instagram lie.

6. The do everything but study

“Oh, I better do laundry and clean my room first”, when your laundry hasn’t been touched since October. Let me watch this episode first and then start studying. Four seasons later… “Where did my time go?”

7. The relaxed

Got a test tomorrow morning, I can pull an all-nighter that’s okay. Starts studying at 2:00 am. Sits down in the test, why did I think about pulling an all-nighter?

Best of luck in finals and I hope you don't face these scenarios!

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. You feel like you will have never-ending classwork to catch up on if you miss class, so you end up going sick and then it just takes longer to get better. Being sick in college is really tough and definitely not a fun experience. Here are the 15 stages that everyone ends up going through when they are sick at college.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
