Whether you’re procrastinating or actually have the free time, we can all use a little binge-watching in our lives. Here are seven of the best TV dramas to satisfy your desires:

1. How To Get Away With Murder

This show follows the lives of five law students who are chosen to work with their professor, a defense attorney who is known to do some unlawful things in order to win cases. Murder mysteries, steamy relationships, and unanswered questions will leave you begging for more.

The first two seasons are on Netflix, and season three just began airing on the C on September, so if you start soon, you can still catch up!

2. Stranger Things

The hottest Netflix original has something for everyone. Set in the 1970s, this nine-episode show follows the story of a missing boy, an undercover government laboratory, and an alternate dimension.

The next season is set for sometime next year, so get to binging this one now!

3. Star Crossed

Out of all of the titles on this list, this is will be the least recognizable. Star-Crossed is a modern, dystopian and science-fiction remake of Romeo and Juliet that follows a human girl and alien boy as they try to integrate their worlds.

Unfortunately, it never got past one season, but that makes it even easier to binge watch!

4. Once Upon a Time

A fairytale lover’s dream, this show intertwines the stories of every well-known character and puts them in the real world. You’ll be begging to live in Storybrooke before the end of season one.

The first six seasons are on Netflix, so it’s a commitment, but it’s well worth the time!

5. The Vampire Diaries

Vampires, witches, and a pair of handsome brothers are the main target points in this CW show.

It’s a time commitment, as there are six seasons on Neftlix, but you won’t regret it. After you watch, let me know: are you #Stelena or #Delena?

6. The Originals

In this spinoff of the Vampire Diaries, the bad guys are out to play. The Mikaelsons are taking over New Orleans, facing old and new foes while trying to protect what matters most — their family.

It’s less of a commitment than the show from which it originates, so there’s no reason to skip out on it (and if you decide to watch it first, there’s a 100% chance you will want the backstory provided from the Vampire Diaries).

7. Timeless

Timeless is a new show that combines history with science fiction. Three protagonists are forced to follow a terrorist back in time to important dates in American history and ensure that nothing alters the course of history.

There are only two episodes so far with another uploaded on the NBC website each Tuesday, so while it might not be binge-watching, it’s just as much of a guilty pleasure.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
