College is like a free trial for "adult life," and let's be honest, none of us know what we're doing. We all just kind of go along with everything and hope for the best.
So if you don't feel the level of shock that this guy feels on the daily... well then you're lying.
1. When you realize summer is over and move in is tomorrow.
Did you start packing yet? No. Are you mentally prepared to be a functioning “adult”? Hell no.
2. When your professor turns "syllabus week" into "syllabus twenty minutes, now let's start chapter one."
Yeah, that whole “sylly week”… not true. And if it actually is for you, you’re lucky.
3. When the professor says that attendance is included in the grade.
I’m paying to be here. You telling me that my showing up is mandatory makes me not want to show up even more than I already didn’t.
4. When the first exam comes around and someone in your class says they've been studying for two weeks.
And when did you start? At 11:30 last night. Are they over-achievers or are you just a procrastinator?
3. When the first exam finishes and everyone is arguing whether the answer was 25 or 23 but you got 698
Feel the panic slowwwwly start sinking in
6. When it feels like you've only been at school for two minutes but you suddenly have four midterms this week.
Time flies when you’re stressing out 24/7!!!
7. When it's already time for spring scheduling but you still don't even know where your fall classes are.
I planned out my class schedule for next semester to make me feel like I’m on top of things when in reality I have no idea what I’m doing for the classes I’m currently in now
