Animated movies. I say this and your mind, more likely than not, probably goes to Disney Pixar films.

Pixar movies are amazing in just about every way possible, with incredible characters such as Doug in "Up", Mike Wazowski in "Monsters, Inc.", and Bing Bong of "Inside Out". While these films are some of the best animated creations of all time with plenty of family friendly films, lovable characters, and comedic scenes, they also tend to ruin our entire lives with their sad openers, loss of loved ones, and multiple other life-ruining elements implemented into the movies.

So here's to all the times Disney Pixar ruined our lives and made us all ugly cry.

1. "Monsters, Inc." (2001)

"Monsters, Inc." has plenty of great scenes including Mike Wazowski's exchanges with the unpleasant office aid Roz, who's "watching you Wazowski, always watching." On the other hand, in the end of the film Pixar does what it does best and ruins our lives. After Boo and Sully have become extremely close, another monster Randall as well as Monster Inc.'s CEO, become a dangerous threat and later lead to Boo being returned to her room and out of the monster world. Sully returns Boo to safety and leaves her saying "Kitty has to go", Kitty being the name she gave him. After Sully leaves, Boo opens her closet door yelling "boo!", only to find "Kitty" gone. The entrance to her room is then shredded, and in this moment, so were the audience member's hearts.

2. "Inside Out" (2015)

In my opinion "Inside Out" is one of the best Disney Pixar films. It has a great cast with names such as Amy Poehler as Joy, and two cast members of "The Office", Phyllis Smith as Sadness, and Mindy Kaling as Disgust. Like most Pixar movies, "Inside Out" also has extremely lovable characters, although I would have to say the best is Bing Bong, Riley's imaginary friend aka, the singing elephant with a flying wagon-powered by song. At one point in the film Bing Bong and Joy get stuck in Riley's "memory dump", where all things go to eventually be forgotten. Bing Bong sacrifices himself so that Joy can escape on his flying wagon asking Joy to "take her to the moon for me, okay?", as he fades away. Riley used to pretend to go to the moon on her wagon with Bing Bong. Life ruining right?

3. "Up" (2009)

"Up" begins by showing this awkward little boy, Carl, who loves adventure and even has a favorite explorer. He then meets a very bubbly and goofy girl named Ellie who shares his love for adventure. Harmless and sweet right? Nope. The pair get married and then Ellie miscarries their child, the pair then try to move past Ellie's infertility and dream of traveling together. When they finally get the money to take the trip they always have wanted to, to Paradise Falls in South America ("like America but south", as Ellie put it when they were kids), Ellie becomes very ill and ultimately dies. Mind you, this all takes place in the first twenty minutes of the film. Those agonizing twenty minutes are something I now find myself skipping past when watching "Up".

4. "Finding Nemo" (2003)

Ok. Pixar really crushed us here. You go into this movie thinking it's going to be all sweet with a little clownfish, but they ruin your life and have you crying in the first five minutes. "Finding Nemo" opens showing Nemo's parents in their new home with all their unborn children, when a barracuda comes. Marlin wishes to swim to safety and tries to convince Coral to as well, but instead she swims to her babies in attempt to rescue them. Marlin is then knocked out, and wakes up to find Coral and all but one of his children has been killed by the barracuda. Marlin then names the egg what Coral wanted to name one of their children, Nemo.

5. "Wall-E" (2008)

"Wall-E" follows a robot who is left on Earth after it has become too polluted for the humans, who now live in space. Wall-E was designed to bring control to the pollution and makes trash cubes, but also enjoys dancing, watching movies, and listening to music. Another robot, Eve, is sent to Earth to report back to the humans of its status, and discovers Wall-E has the secret of rebuilding Earth, a plant. She takes the plant back to space, along with Wall-E who begins to have feelings of affection for Eve, as he'd seen in the movies he watched. However, when the robotic auto-pilot of the human's spaceship, tries to get rid of the plant, Wall-E sacrifices himself to return it to Earth. When he and Eve arrive, Wall-E has been damaged, and he has no recollection of Eve, the feelings he had for her, or the music he loved and shared with her. He resorts to what he was designed to do, make trash cubes. Wall-E eventually remembers Eve when she holds his hand and shows him affection, but still, Pixar had us going for a minute.

6. "The Good Dinosaur" (2015)

"The Good Dinosaur" is possibly one of the saddest movies on this list. While it still has plenty of lovable characters and comedic scenes especially with Arlo and Spot's "boy and his dog relationship", there are also plenty of sad moments to go around. Arlo is the smallest of his family and his fears prevent him from achieving things everyone else does and from putting his "mark" on the family wall. When Arlo's father tries to make him face his fears they are caught in a storm and his father is killed. Arlo then becomes lost far away from home with the boy he was once supposed to hunt. In one scene when Arlo is talking to Spot, the wild boy, he says "I miss my family". When Spot doesn't understand what Arlo is trying to say, Arlo draws a circle and places sticks in it, representing his family members. Spot then does the same, then pushes two of the sticks down and covers them in dirt, signifying the death of his parents. Arlo then does the same for his father. And then we all ugly cried as they howled at the moon together.

7. "Toy Story" (1995,1999,2010)

There are currently three "Toy Story" films. Which means lots of great moments with Buzz and Woody, Mr. Potato Head, and the rest of Andy's Toys, but also plenty of sad scenes as well. I mean they are Disney Pixar films after all. In the first film Buzz is stuck in this delusion that he really is a space ranger. This is until he sees the commercial for The Buzz Light Year action figure that has all the same features and catch features that he does. Buzz then tests this theory that he's a toy and attempts to fly, Buzz jumps from the top of a stair case, aiming to fly out the window, but instead falls to the floor making his arm come off. Disney Pixar does what it does best and continues to devastate us in "Toy Story 2" with Jessie's story of being forgotten and abandoned by her owner, telling Woody you never forget kids (...), but they forget you."

Finally, in "Toy Story 3", came the moment none of us were ready for. Andy goes off to college and gives away all the toys to a little girl. They watch as Andy pulls away and Woody looks devastated saying "So long, partner." In this moment the audience, full of grown millennials, cried together.

You're crying now aren't you? Yeah, me too.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Advice To Live By As Told By Bob's Burgers

The Belchers hold the key to a better life.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
