Winter break is a relief for most college students as these millennials head back to their home or vacation spot for a few weeks. It's a good time to forget about schoolwork since the semester is over. But what about your classes in the next semester? How much food you'll pack into your suitcase when you get back? The days of our winter break diminish as the new year is a symbol of the new college semester. Here are some things that you may be thinking about heading back to college.

1. "I better start packing!!"

For most people, college students tend to live through their luggage during winter break, which can be a mess at times, taking clothes out of it and never really unpacking. Once it's time to go back to school, most of us decide to do the packing and arranging at the last minute.

2. "Time to pet ALL the animals!!!"

A lot of people miss their pets during the school semester and throughout break you get to be with your best friend every day. It's a little sad to leave them for several months again at home when you return. So, spend those last few days at home petting all the fluffiness from dogs and cats; even pet reptiles and fishes!

3. "I better pack some food."

Your diet during the school semester consists of food from the cafeteria, Subway and ramen so it's a blessing to come back to home cooked meals. The reality of coming back to campus food can be less tragic when you grab Tupperware containers of food from home to last you a few weeks. The good news is that this could help you save on your meal plan budget.

4."Maybe it's time for a haircut"

New year, new you! Well possibly, while a new haircut can make a statement, it may not appear the same as you expected it and all of your friends may make your new haircut the topic in the conversation for the first couple of weeks in the new semester.

5. "Was something built during the break?"

When you head back on campus, you can see the differences on the environment, whether it is a new building or something else under construction. And sometimes the campus changed drastically in a few weeks where you may not recognize where you live.

6. "Do I know these people?"

A new semester can bring in new students; often times we see plenty of transfer students around campus when you come back. Sometimes there have been students on campus that always been there but you haven't seen them until the new semester.

7. "I MISS YOU!!!"

Our top priority coming back from winter break is to see our friends for the first time in several weeks. Who knew that people that you get to know for a few months will miss you after two weeks of break? It's time for everyone to catch up and talk about break.

Several thoughts run through your head during the last few days of winter break heading into the new semester. It's a snap back to the reality of being a college student and getting back to schoolwork and cram sessions at night. Make the best out of your last few days of freedom at home.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
