Life is already hard, so don't be too hard on yourself. Remind yourself of these seven things on daily basis...

1. It's OK to not know all the answers.

Accept the fact that it's totally acceptable to not have your life completely planned out yet. You may not know exactly what you want in life or what exactly to do with it, but you'll get there eventually. Let life teach you as well as help you grow.

2. Everybody makes mistakes.

In the wise words of Hannah Montana, "Nobody's Perfect! I gotta work it! Again and again 'til I get it right." And she's not wrong. It's okay to mess up and it's okay if you're life is a mess for a little bit. Don't beat yourself up too much, everybody makes mistakes.

3. If he doesn't treat you like you're worth it, then he isn't worth it.

Again, this is a harder concept to fully accept but it's something that all girls should understand. There are so many boys out there who would be lucky to even have the opportunity to talk to you, don't stick around and waste both of y'all's time if he doesn't make you feel important.

4. "Today is a good day for a good day."

Everyday has the potential to be the best day yet, it's all about your perspective. Yeah, most people don't stray too far away from their day-to-day routine, but try to wake up in a confident and good mood and you will see good opportunities start to arise.

5. You Matter.

Don't ever believe, even for a slight second, that you don't. There are people (family, friends, or acquaintances) that care about you to an extreme amount. You have changed more lives than you know, and don't give in to self-doubt.

6. Live in the moment.

Nowadays life is very fast paced and it can seem like all everybody is doing and talking about is the future. Remind yourself to slow down for just a second and take a few minutes to actually see life as it is now instead of what it will be tomorrow.

7. You're Beautiful.

You are literally so beautiful on the outside and the inside. It's a hard concept to fully accept, but your beauty truly is not measured by your clothing size, it's measured by how genuine you are to yourself as well as others.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
