7 Things to Do While You Are In New Jersey

New Jersey is the place to be! Here is what you should do while visiting!

1. Get a bagel.

I put this first because it's the most important. Bagels in New Jersey are amazing and a must.

2. Go to New York City.

If you live in Northern Jersey, you can see the city sky line from the highway. Take a day to go to the city. It's the perfect get away. Go see a Broadway show, Yankee game (not Mets hehe), or the Statue of Liberty.

3. Go down the shore.

The shore is the place to be. It is beautiful and full of fun things to do. There are boardwalks, boat tours and tons of shops. Make sure you wear sunscreen and don't bring your food on the beach. A seagull might grab it.

4. Go to a diner.

Jersey has diners around every corner. Pick one and go. You won't regret it.

5. Go to an Italian restaurant.

Not from Dominos, Pizza Hut, or Pizza King. You need to go to a family-owned pizza parlor. Your life will be changed forever. You will have the best pizza and pasta of your life.

6. Get gas.

We don't pump our own gas, and we love it. Take the time to see how it feels to sit in your car and have it done for you.

7. Go to Wawa.

Wawa is the place to go in New Jersey. Open 24/7, it's the perfect place for a late night snack.

After seeing this list, I hope you all decide to check out the wonderful places that New Jersey has to offer!

5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone
Youtube

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
