This year, like all of my other previous years of college, I will not have the luxury of going on some awesome spring break trip to a beach far, far away. Soon social media feeds will be filled with pictures of people sitting on beaches and soaking up the sun. Just because you might not be spending time on the beach doesn't mean you can't have a fun and relaxing week. Here are some things you can do if you're not going away for spring break:
1. Go on a mini-road trip.
look into hitting different locations close to you that you've never been to,
or even make the journey to your neighboring state!
2. Catch up on your reading.
Reading is probably the last thing on your mind, but reading for enjoyment is much better than reading for class. Make a trip to your local Barnes and Noble and pick up that book you've been wanting to read.
3. Spend time with your family.
If you're home on spring break, you should really make time for your family. Plan a game night or just sit around together and watch a movie.
4. Get together with old friends.
If you're lucky enough to have the same spring break as your friends, this is the time for you to catch up. Use this week to do anything and everything together.
5. Try something new.
Start a DIY project, go to a new restaurant, start to learn an instrument, anything
that you pinned on Pinterest that you haven't gotten to yet.6. Binge watch a show on Netflix.
A whole week to binge watch a television series guilt-free? Yes please.
7. Sleep.
Honestly, you're a college student and don't have classes for a week. You can *finally* take that nap you've been waiting for.
