Alright college kids, are you going back to school? Are you already at school? Regardless, here's a list of things you need to keep in mind for the beginning of this brand new semester.
1. Bring back windex, a sponge, paper towels and bleach wipes for the inevitable black, crusty, pungent mold in your fridge.
2. For the love of God, bring Febreze and/or Lysol. This is an essential product that suits a variety of needs such as smelly furniture and that putrid odor that you just can't find the source of.
3. Don't forget your phone charger. In fact, put it in your pocket before you leave your house so you know it's there. You wouldn't want to be stranded in your dorm without your phone, especially if you're in a suite and you move in a day early.
4. Don't buy your textbooks immediately. Wait until you've had the class before you buy that $200 textbook that you're probably going to use twice.
5. Make a checklist of things that you need to bring back to your dorm with you. You wouldn't want to be caught without underwear three days into the new semester.
6. Have a printout of your schedule. It's nice to have a hard copy of your weekly schedule in your pocket so you know when/where classes are, and so you're not late or lost.
7. Look forward to it, and have fun. I know some people aren't looking forward to their spring courseload, but it'll be better if you go into it smiling than if you went into it full of anxiety. Joining new clubs can also help you transition into the new semester.
