1. Your town is pretty quiet

When you live in a small town, nothing really exciting ever happens. It is pretty quiet and slow. Except for the occasional things that happen during holiday's and seasons. For my small town, we have pumpkin picking and hay rides for October. Then during the summer we have a water park and a ski and snowboarding resort during the winter. But, sadly that is the most exciting things that happen in my town. And I know there is not too much more going on in any small town.

2. You have to drive 20+ minutes to go shopping

When you live in a small town, there are not many stored. Especially, not big ones because there is no room for them. You get a food store, pizzeria's and a few others random stores and that is all. If you want to go to Walmart or a mall, be prepared to go for a drive.

3. Sports are your town's activities

Sports is a very big deal in small towns. It is what brings people together. When you are little, you have probably participated in soccer at least once or been part of baseball, softball, cheerleading and football. People will always come down to the fields to watch a game and support their town.

4. Finding a job is not easy

If you want a job that is really close to home, then you might be waiting for that opportunity for a long time. A small town means a small amount of businesses or just small businesses in general. Getting that job close to home will not be as easy as you hope. If you can get a job, it will most likely be at the food store in town, in a pizzeria, or fast food.

5. You know almost everyone

Because of sports and/or school, you know almost everyone. Even just from working in town, you learn people's names and get to known them. When you work in town, you will see the same people over and over again and eventually you just get to know those people. This also goes for sports. Small town means not a lot of variety with teams among the sports, so you play with slot of the same people or against the same people.

6. Nothing is a secret

Nothing happens without everyone knowing about it. Once something happens people are either talking about it or it is on Facebook. No one can get away with anything or go un-noticed. That is what happens when everyone knows each other!

7. Mostly you all grew up together

Small towns usually mean that journal, have grown up together. Most families have lived in the small town for years and have grown up there themselves when they were children. These types of towns are good for families to grow up together. They are family oriented places.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
