Everyone has a soft spot for their special four legged friend, but what things do our cats and dogs do that make our heart sing the loudest? Sometimes our love for our pets require more of an explanation than words can offer, so I've gathered a few moments here to highlight what I've noticed our furry friends do to have us smiling from ear to ear.

1. Chase their tails.

Katy shows no signs of dizziness, but after watching her swirl around so fast to snatch her tail in her mouth, I think I'll need to take a seat.

2. Eating their food away from their bowl.

Little Lizzy will take a mouth full of dry food and adventure of to somewhere more suitable for the meal (usually a cozy rug), munch on her dinner, and then return a few seconds later for another trip.

3. Soaking in the sun.

Nothing beats watching your pet go outside just to sunbathe! Lizzy especially loves to lay in the warmth of the sun in the morning, after breakfast.

4. Putting themselves in places they don't belong.

Curious Katy often explores laundry baskets, window sills, and even the bathroom sink.

Side note: I have no clue how she manages to climb these heights at an astounding three feet tall on her hind legs.

5. The head tilt.

Try asking Lizzy a question, she'll sway her head to the left to let you know she's listening intently, but still has no clue what you're saying.

6. Keep our laps warm.

Not only on their own do these loving lap dogs provide me with some extra warmth, but together too! The gang's all here.

7. Tolerate our incessant selfie taking.

Although Lizzy may look glum while I'm holding her up against my chest for a killer Snapchat story, I believe that she knows it gives me the utmost pleasure to show her off to the the world. That's the thing about dogs, they'll do whatever it takes to make you smile. Even if it means dealing with the awkward angles in front of natural light and breaks in between flashes to adjust her hair (and my own of course), she sticks it out until I get my favorite shot. Every single time.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
