In one month, I will be going on a cruise to Mexico for spring break. I will be stopping in Cozumel and Costa Maya. You hear many things about spring break in Mexico and just spring break in general. There are many different fun things that you can do on a cruise and in Mexico. Here are the seven things I am most looking forward to doing on break.

1. No School Work

A whole week where I do not have to work on homework or exams or papers. It is going to be absolute bliss. From the beginning of the semester to March 11 has been and will continue to be a stress-filled time of Stats, English, History, etc. A week on a boat and a beach is exactly what I need.

2. Exploring Mexico

There are so many fun things that are available to do in Mexico. ATV Riding, fishing, scuba diving, glass-bottom boat rides. I am so ready to just let loose and explore and have some fun. It is going to be one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

3. Hanging Out With Friends

I am going on this trip with friends and I cannot wait to just hang out. Making jokes and chilling with friends is one of my favorite things to do, and I can't wait to just be with them.

4. Being Technology Free

While being on the ship and in Mexico, I will have limited to no access to my phone, laptop, iPad, etc., and I am honestly excited for that. I won't be tied down to my accessories and will be able to just enjoy the experience of spring break. I won't constantly be checking to see if I got a text, Snapchat, tweet, GroupMe, etc.; I will be focused on just being there and creating memories.

5. No Responsibilities

On this trip, I will not have any responsibilities except to have fun and take care of myself. I am so ready to not have to take care of other things and think about everything going on around me. I just get to chill out and not stress about anything.

6. Night Entertainment

On the ship, there are so many things to occupy your time at night. Clubs, live shows, comedy clubs, concerts--it all sounds so amazing. Being able to do so many different things every night and dance, experience, and enjoy myself and enjoy my time with my friends.

7. Traveling in General

I have never really ever traveled before. I have been to other parts of Tennessee and Kentucky, but never anywhere fun. I am excited to not only travel but travel overseas. It is going to be a memory that I can hold onto forever. I have always wanted to travel and hope to continue traveling all over the world in the future.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

For those long nights that turn into mornings when the struggle is real.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
