With every girl comes a best friend. Yet, as we grow up, our best friends do too. And I guess a part of growing up is having crushes, and from there, being in relationships. So, to you, the boyfriend of my best friend:
She was mine first. I was her first "BF" (best friend) before you took over those letters. She's my best friend and I love her a whole lot. And while I know you do too, it's a given duty (as her BFF of course) to protect her. However, I am willing to share her if you would just hear me out and come to terms with these 7 things...
1. She and I are a package
When you date her, I'm sorry (not sorry) but you are going to have to deal with me as well.
2. I know her better than you do
No, I'm not exaggerating. I swear I know everything there is to know about her, and some of those things are things that you just...may never know.
3. She's the best girl that you could ever have
She's my friend for a reason, and I hope you see in her everything that I love her for too.
4. You need to take care of her
There will be times when she only wants you, when she will only want to tell you, when she will go to you. And you need to make sure you listen and help her.
5. She's absolutely crazy
I might as well tell you straight up, if you haven't figured it out yourself already.
6. If you break her heart, you and I will be having a little chat...
I know it's tacky to say, and I know I probably already told you, but it's the truth.
7. I love her just as much as you do
(If not more...)
