Some people may think that being a pre-pharmacy major is easy, but those of us who have that major are basically struggling to survive on a daily basis. These are just a few of the many things that pharmacy majors deal with day-to-day.

1. They help each other succeed because they couldn't survive alone.

Pharmacy is one of the hardest majors on campus. Therefore, most people struggle with it. It's good to have those friends to ask questions to when you're unsure of how to solve a certain problem.

2. After having many chemistry and biology tests on the same day, they all exhibit the same attitude.

We need our bed and no human contact after we've struggled through three tests in one day.

3. They get depressed when they realize their friends with other majors will graduate in only 4 years.

Most pharmacy programs are about seven years long unlike a four-year bachelor's degree. Pharmacy majors are still in school and have tons of student debt while they see their friends already in their job field of choice.

4."You're going to school for so long just to count pills and put them in a bottle?"

Pharmacists are basically unsung heroes of the medical world. Pharmacists go the extra mile everyday to make sure that people are receiving the best quality of care. They counsel patients, give injections, and interpret how drug interactions will or won't affect you. Oh, and sometimes they count pills. That's important too.

5. They all have a common hobby of interest if they have a few hours of free time.

Sleep is golden for pharmacy majors. Most weeks they go with an average of four hours of sleep per night so they basically run off caffeine throughout the day.

6. They miss out on valuable time with family and friends.

One of the many downfalls of being a pharmacy major is that they have to pass on a few fun opportunities if they take place the weekend before a huge test, such as football games or socials, if they plan to pass.

7. But they all know one day all of it will pay off.

One day after they graduate pharmacy school and get their degree, all the stress and late nights of studying will definitely pay off.

10 Things Only Equestrians Understand

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.

Sometimes my brain just starts turning on an idea and it doesn't want to stop.
