7 Things Every Older Sibling Should Tell Their Younger Sibling

Sometimes we forget to remind our siblings how much they mean to us.

Being the older sibling is definitely a blessing and a curse. You are the first born, the practice child, the trial run and sometimes that doesn't really benefit you. And when they decide to have another child you become the role model. Your parents are now more strict with you and expect a lot more. There is an instant love hate relationship with your younger sibling. You love them more than life, but you hate them for having it easier and being able to do a lot more than you ever could.

They will most likely want to be a part of your plans and they will not listen to you at all. This will cause a lot of arguments, but despite all the irrelevant fights you will always want to protect them. Us older ones don't really tell our younger siblings everything we want to or should mostly because they don't listen, but these are some things I think we all want to make sure they know...

1. I will always be your best friend.

2. Even when I want nothing to do with you, I will still be there for you.

3. I will never hurt you on purpose.

4. You are the most annoying/irritating person in my life, but I love you anyway.

5. The people closest to you can hurt you most, so always be aware.

6. You don't have to dress up for every occasion because you are so much more perfect than you realize.

7. KNOW THAT YOU ARE WORTH SO MUCH MORE THAN YOU REALIZE.

It's important that we make sure all our younger siblings know things like this because we are more important to them then we realize.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
