Have you ever walked outside on a hot summer day and immediately had to slap sunglasses on your face because you happened to look down at your own skin? Just a quick glance at an arm or a leg seems to have permanently burned holes through your very eyes…?

Well this is the life of person who's skin tone happens to perfectly match up with the "Marshmallow cream" crayon. I'm here to give you some insights into the world of whiter-than-white.

1. "Shine bright like a diamond"...

This is pretty much self explanatory. But if you're not exactly sure what this means, you take the saying "you light up a room" to a whole new level, like your skin actually lights up a room.

2. SPF...OMG

I always find it humorous to discuss SPF levels with my friends. Most of them find the perfect range to be from 15 t o30. I, on the other hand can't even think about applying anything less than SPF 1000...O.K., more like 75 but its basically the same thing.

3. "It's time to re-apply."

This is actually the worst. When I was a kid, it felt like I was in the pool for about .72 seconds before my mom hauled me out to lather on another coat of "liquid armor."

4. And when you forget to re-apply......

Be prepared to wake up the next morning feeling like a charbroiled meat patty. You will swear you'll never let this happen again, but will continue to get the same exact burn every couple of weeks.5. Planning your day around the angle of the sun....

I promise you this is a real thing. (Avoid the hours between 1 and 4 p.m.)

6. Blending into your surroundings...

7. Even after three months of sunny pool days accompanied by a few flesh fryings, you're still the exact same shade of marshmallow.
