She was sitting on a park bench,
Mindful of her surroundings.
Feet pulled together, heel along
The crevice of heel, together creating
The yin and the yang.
She inhaled oxygen from the atmosphere,
The trees waving her along as she basked
In their presence, her arms arched above
Her head saluting the sun.
She inhaled carbon, the trees thanking her
By bowing their heads and rustling
Their hundreds of leaves in the spring
Afternoon sun.
The aroma of jasmine hits nostrils,
A calming agent to the storm she
Was trying to put out inside her chest
As the final step of psychology resonated
Inside of her: acceptance.
