1. Hocus Pocus
This is the first movie that comes to mind for me when I think of Halloween. It has witches, black cats, and of course the black flame candle... Prepare for some Hocus Pocus!
2. Halloweentown
For all of us 90s kids, this is a must-see every year! From the iconic, giant pumpkin in the town square to Benny the skeleton, cab-driver, this movie never fails to bring the nostalgia!
3. Twitches
Tia and Tamara were the twins of the 90s and early 2000s, from telling Roger to go home to casting spells together, they could do it all! This movie has the perfect amount of both magic and sisterhood!
4. Phantom of the Megaplex
Ok I do not care how old or brave you were as a kid, this movie was scary! A mysterious phantom haunting a movie theatre on Halloween? This movie used to give me the heebie-jeebies but now is a great source of nostalgia.
5. Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire
This is probably one of the most underrated Disney Halloween movies out there! I remember even as a kid thinking this movie was so cute and also a little creepy (which was most likely the goal)... I remember yelling at the TV whenever the Mom would leave with the vampire and trying to warn her, because of course back then that would totally help...
6. Don't Look Under the Bed
Ok when I say this movie scared the crap out of me, I am not joking! Don't Look Under the Bed was not the usual happy, feel-good Disney Channel movie...it was much darker. This movie made me fear walking by my bed because I thought a monster was going to pull me under...watch with caution!
7. The Haunted Mansion
Eddie Murphy and ghosts...need I say more?
