Love is a complicated emotion. When it hits, it can hit harder than most. Sure, it can be both pleasant and unpleasant all at once, but one thing love has given the world that cannot be understated is some incredible music. From songs about first love to devastating ballads about breakups, love songs exist all around us. One subcategory of these that I especially love is songs about crushing on someone. Whether your feelings are requited or not, we all deep down need an outlet to feel understood when such emotions start to overwhelm us, so here are just a few songs that I feel reflect the ups and downs of having a crush on someone.

1. "Cloud 9" by Beach Bunny

2. "Double Knot" by Milkkid

3. "Line Without a Hook" by Ricky Montgomery

4. "Flaming Hot Cheetos" by Clairo

5. "Chit Chat" by Beach Weather

6. "80's makeout session" by dacelynn

7. "Two Straws" by Also Joe
