Is it possible to be healthy without exercising 24/7 and only eating vegetables? The answer to is, yes! You won't be the perfect image of health, but you'll be somewhat better, and that's all I can hope you'll gain from this article. Without becoming like those health gurus on Instagram that like to show off, here are seven simple ways to improve your life!

1. Drink More Water

I think it would be safe to say that not everyone drinks the recommended amount of water, because I know that I don't at all. Water is super duper important, guys. It can help with skin hydration, nutrient absorption, detoxication, and a billion more things. The list could go on forever, so drink a bunch of water! Yum!

2. Cut Out Soda

Soda is terrible for us and our bodies, and this probably does not come as a shock to you guys. Soda, pop, coke, yes, all of the above is the literal worst. So do yourself a favor and CUT! IT! OUT! Or at least reduce your intake, that would good too.

3. Meditate

Contrary to popular belief, meditation is not reserved to only those who are the stereotypical hippies with tie-dye t-shirts. It would actually benefit more those who are more high strung and stressed, those who are the opposite of hippies. So, spend 30 or so minutes of your day sitting and just breathing. Take this time to collect your thoughts and clear your mind. Ohhhhmmmmmm.

4. Walk More

Walking is something that we do everyday and is actually exercising! Something that I like to do is to park my car further away in the parking lot, so I have to walk more. This gives me an extra 100+ steps without that much more effort. It's a win-win situation, y'all!

5. Snack Between Meals

Now, when I say "snack" I do not mean that bag of potato chips with 30+ grams of sodium, sadly. I mean those fruit and vegetables that we love to hate. Those things are healthy, so let's eat them! Yay!

6. Eat Breakfast

"BREAKFAST IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY!" Yes, thank you to every adult ever who told me that while growing up. This is true, though. A simple meal in the morning can get your metabolism going, make you more awake, and make your day more productive. So, let's all do it!

7. Laugh More

This is the easiest one on this list, right? Laughing is fun and also healthy for you. So, surround yourself with friends who make you laugh until your sides hurt and you need to pee! I can do that and so can you, so get going!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
