One thing people love about the summer is the sun. The days are often sunny and hot; some people love this and spend every possible second outdoors. There are some of us, though, that don't like how sunny it is in the summer and hate the heat that the seemingly endless sunshine brings. Here are 7 signs that you hate the sun.

1. You're always looking for shade

Every second you are outside, you seek the sweet relief of shade. Whether it's from trees or a building, you are usually found walking or standing in the shade.

2. Hats and sunscreen are your best friends

Tanning? Nope. Sunburn? Double nope. If you are outside, you will be wearing multiple layers of sunscreen and a hat to keep the sun's rays from harming your skin.

3. You prefer to stay indoors with the air conditioning turned up

Even though many others adore outdoor activities like swimming, going to the beach, or hiking, you prefer to stay inside and limit your time outdoors.

4. When people ask you to join them outside for extended periods, you cringe

You just don't get why people love being outside so much! You hate being asked to do activities that involve being in the sun all day. You may even reject doing some things just to avoid the sun.

5. You highly consider carrying around an umbrella when it's sunny

Maybe you even do. Do people think it's weird? Probably. Would you care? No. Anything to avoid the sun's harsh rays.

6. You consider yourself more of a fall/winter person.

Your favorite season is likely either fall or winter, due to the lack of sunshine and extreme heat.

7. Cloudy days are your favorite days

You don't understand why people get so down when it's cloudy, even going so far as to avoid going outside. Cloudy days are when you venture out into the world and have fun!

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Barn Pros

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.
