Williamstown, New Jersey, the best town in South Jersey. Williamstown is in Gloucester County and filled with many recognizable signs. If you have lived in Williamstown your whole life or even eighteen out of the twenty years you've been alive, or even for just five years, you will know these seven things to be true.

1. You've definitely been to Geets, and you were sad when it closed.

You probably went to Geets all the time in the morning for breakfast, for lunch, or for dinner. You definitely went after school events and met up with all of your friends. Delayed openings for school definitely meant going to Geets with your friends and getting a chocolate chip waffle or a pork roll egg and cheese on a bagel. Williamstown residents are lying if they say they never liked Geets and they most definitely cried when it closed.

2. The talk page is the hot spot for gossip.

Everyone loves to gossip and you definitely go here to check on all the drama. I mean you could also use it for town news. You could use the page to find out about what happened on the pike or why you got that phone call from the school or where to get your nails done...but does anyone really?

3. You've seen the Jesus Van.

You know where it usually is and you drive past it frequently.

4. Don Pepino's sauce is THE sauce.

Every day in the fall when you smell Don Pepino's you get super hungry for pasta. This is definitely your favorite smell. Seeing the multiple truckloads of tomatoes on their way to the factory is usually funny and means that soon you'll be smelling the heavenly smell of pizza and spaghetti sauce!

5. You hate Delsea and Twp.

Once a Brave always a Brave and you support your team! Sporting events against Washington Township or Delsea are always crazy since the rivalry is so strong. There have even been some trashcans thrown at a hockey game against Dubtown and Twp, which proves how strong the rivalry is!

6. The Blue Hole was the spot to hang with friends.

You probably have visited the Blue Hole with your friends. You also most likely got your jeep or truck stuck there, too. Have you ever seen something as beautiful as the Blue Hole?

7. Summer means the St. Mary’s Carnival is coming.

You know that summer is definitely here when St. Mary’s has their carnival. How could you resist getting lemonade, ice cream, and riding the Zipper?

Even if people from Williamstown, New Jersey are stereotyped by the typical “New Jersey” person we are nothing like that at all. Williamstown is full of craziness and lots of distinctness. If you know about the above seven things, then you are most definitely are from Williamstown, New Jersey. Whether you are from the Lakes, Hunter Woods, Forrest Hills, Scotland Run, or anywhere in between, we all have one thing in common…Williamstown.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
